. Read reviews.
Independent lab-testing shows that they offer a better combination of absorbency capacity and leakproof performance than any other brand of reusable absorbent underwear.
Available in black or beige, they look, feel and fit just like ordinary briefs, but with the bonus of a slightly thicker (4mm/.16 inch) super-absorbent leakproof panel – providing extra reassurance for heavy period days and moderate leakage.
What sets them apart from other washable absorbent underwear is Confitex’s high-performance textile technology, which has been lab-verified hyper-absorbent, leakproof, odour-resistant, breathable, durable for more than 52 washes and free of potentially harmful PFOS and PFOA chemicals.
Because of their superior absorbency, Just'nCase underwear may take longer to dry than your usual laundry. But the good news is that, unlike most other brands, they can be safely tumble-dried – a bonus for busy lives!

See how our pee-proof and period-proof pants compare with pads and tampons. Different people have different needs, so individual results may vary. Many of our new customers like to buy one pair to trial in the privacy of their home, then once they know they’ve got the right size and absorbency they come back to buy multiple pairs.
Kala’s story: My heavy periods
“I’m a bleeder. I have to change my super tampon every two or three hours on heavy days, sometimes every hour. It’s exhausting and expensive.
“Over the four days of my period I’d go through about 20 super tampons and 12 pads – and tampons cost a lot!
“I trialed Just’nCase at home. I wore the full briefs on the heaviest day of my period and they were incredible. They completely absorbed the blood and I felt dry, with no leakage from the sides or in my jeans. I checked the odour and they were pretty odour-free, which was also good. I’m amazed that they went through the night with no leakage on the bedsheets.
“Now I wear them every period – they're all I use. I don’t have to buy pads – I don’t even have to think about them. It’s so liberating!
“I usually wear the lace ones on my early days and towards the end of my period, when I have lighter bleeding, and I’ll often wear them right through for 24 hours. They’re super comfortable and the shape is really flattering. I actually feel quite sexy in them.
“I also wear the high cut ones on lighter days – I like that they're quite streamlined and they hold you in a bit across your tummy.
“Then the full briefs are fantastic for my really heavy days when I need the extra absorbency. They have a slightly thicker absorbent panel than the others, which I find reassuring. You’re asking it to absorb a lot of blood so you want to look at it and feel it can deliver that.
“The full briefs will comfortably take 12 to 15 hours of heavy bleeding (I would normally have gone through four or five super tampons in that time). I’ll often have a shower in the evening and then put on another pair at night.
“I just wish I’d known about period underwear sooner. They’re revolutionary. I may never use a tampon again. Hooray!”
Sarah’s story: Living with wee leaks
“I was 47 when I started to get regular bladder leakage. I thought it was a condition reserved for older people, maybe over 65 or even 70, who were at an age where the body was in natural decline.
“The first time I experienced uncontrollable bladder leakage, I was at the supermarket just shopping for fruit when I felt my bladder give and a warm stream start to trickle down my leg. I was able to hold some of it back, but I was so embarrassed I couldn’t bring myself to shop at that supermarket for a long time.
“Bladder leaks started to happen more and more frequently after that. I became too afraid to go to the gym because any sort of physical exertion seemed to make me pee uncontrollably. My social life suffered as I couldn’t enjoy myself when I was worried about a laugh making me leak. Anything that put even a little bit of pressure on my bladder seemed to make me just go!
“My doctor suggested I try a brand of reusable, absorbent underwear designed to manage multiple bladder leaks across a day, as a way to make me feel confident to stay active. Confitex was the brand – and to this day, I don’t know what I would have done without them. When I wore them, I stopped being continually anxious and physically stressed and could actually focus on things beyond my bladder leakage.
“Confitex underwear gave me the freedom to get on with what I wanted and needed to do without having to worry about embarrassing leaks. Although they didn’t stop my bladder from giving out, wearing Confitex meant that I knew that my leaks were supported and the more I wore them, the more confident I felt to get stuck in to kegel exercises, socialising and getting physically fit again. Although I still experience the odd leak, I control my bladder more than it controls me.”
Pat’s story: “I’m not ashamed of being incontinent.”
“I have shown my Confitex products to my 84-year-old sister and my 60-year-old daughter. Like me, they each had four children and are now suffering from incontinence.
“I use only your products and wear them day and night so I can relax knowing I won’t leak all over the place. The new ones are very comfortable, having the stretchy material rather than the elasticised legs and waistband that used to cut into me a bit. They are far less bulky as well, which means my waistline is slimmer. They’re easier to dry and lighter in weight if you are travelling away from home for more than a few days.
“I’m very happy! Thank you Confitex!
“I’m happy for you to use my feedback, and I don’t mind my name being used. I’m not ashamed of being incontinent. I do kegels every day, go to tai chi twice a week and have a personal trainer at the gym for two 30-minute sessions a week. Like most octogenarians, I am getting a bit less able than before, but I still lead an okay life, watching my grandchildren playing sport every weekend!
“Best wishes, Pat.”
Just’nCase Full Briefs with Extra Absorbency offer superior protection when you need a little more reassurance – on heavy period days or for moderate bladder leakage.
Independent lab testing shows they absorb more than 50ml/1.7 fl oz – or ten tampons worth of flow.
For bladder leakage, Just’nCase Full Briefs with Extra Absorbency offer protection approximately equivalent to single-use pads such as Poise Regular Pads. See our comparative chart below.
On lighter period days, or if you have only light bladder leakage, you may prefer to try our Full Briefs with Everyday Absorbency, High Cut Briefs with Everyday Absorbency, Stripe Midi Briefs with Everyday Absorbency or Lace Full Briefs with Everyday Absorbency.
If you have little or no bladder control, we’re sorry our underwear will not meet your needs.
To provide transparency and guidance in a largely unregulated industry characterised by unsubstantiated absorbency claims, we commissioned leading international standards laboratory UL to subject our products to stringent testing. Testing showed that Just'nCase Full Briefs with Extra Absorbency absorb at least 50ml/1.7 fl oz of liquid at a speed of at least 2.69 ml/sec. (In fact, the total absorbency verified by UL was substantially higher than this, but we have chosen to more accurately reflect the volume that can be accommodated without leakage in a real-life situation that allows for gravity, movement and compression.) Wondering how our underwear compare to disposable pads, liners and tampons? We commissioned independent standards testing laboratory UL* to test them against leading single-use paper products. Here's where they fit on a scale of absorbency.
* The following is a graphic depiction of comparative results based on UL Laboratories testing of Confitex and selected leading brands of single-use absorbent liners and pads undertaken January-April 2020.
To work effectively, it’s important that your underwear fits snugly. Although our briefs are made from a forgiving stretch fabric to offer sizing flexibility, we strongly advise that you measure yourself before ordering, rather than just guessing.
Our sizing categories (S, XL etc) are based on international standards and can be used as a general guide, but actual measurements are more likely to result in the perfect fit.
Many of our new customers like to buy one pair to trial in the privacy of their home, then once they know they’ve got the right size and absorbency they come back to buy multiple pairs.
Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, keeping tape parallel with the floor, then consult our chart.

UNDERWEAR: 78% POLYAMIDE, 22% ELASTANE. ABSORBENT TEXTILE: 97% POLYESTER, 3% ELASTANE. CRAFTED WITH CARE FOR 100% CONFIDENCE.
Our leakproof absorbent underwear can be hand or machine washed just like your ordinary underwear – and because they contain our patented leakproof textile instead of the layer of PU plastic used by most other brands, if you don't have the time or inclination to hang them on the washing line you can safely pop them in the tumble dryer instead without impacting their leakproof performance (the plastic layer in other brands tends to shrink and warp in the dryer, leading to leaks). They can also be dried in an airing closet or on an indoor drying rack or heated towel rail. They’ll dry faster if turned inside out, and will take about the same amount of time to dry as a pair of thick sports socks.
Wash and dry before use to activate fibres for full absorbency. Turn inside out to rinse after use, then wash on delicate cycle below 40°C/105°F, or hand wash separately if you prefer. Do not bleach, do not use fabric conditioner, do not dry clean. Dry away from direct sunlight or tumble dry on low heat. For further instructions see our FAQs.
Frequently asked questions
Which level of absorbency do I need?
Just’nCase Full Briefs with Extra Absorbency provide convenience and peace of mind to women experiencing heavy period days, post-baby bleeding or light-to-medium incontinence. They absorb at least ten tampons’ worth of flow. On your light days, or if you have light bladder leakage you may prefer to try our Full Briefs with Everyday Absorbency, High Cut Briefs with Everyday Absorbency, Stripe Midi Briefs with Everyday Absorbency or Lace Full Briefs with Everyday Absorbency, which absorb and retain up to five regular tampons’ worth of flow. Some women like to have a few pairs of each on hand so they can wear the lighter version for everyday use, with the option of a higher absorbency at night, when exercising or when they require extra reassurance. If you have little or no bladder control, we’re sorry our underwear will not meet your needs. Please discuss your options with your health professional or carer.
Are they cost-effective?
Designed to be worn again and again, Just’nCase briefs can be thrown in the washing machine and tumble dryer and have been lab-tested to withstand as many washing and drying cycles as ordinary underwear. They cost about the same as a pair of designer panties and last just as long. And because you’re not buying tampons, pads or liners as well, you’ll actually save money in the long run! Find out more on our blog.
Why are they better for the planet?
Just’nCase underwear are an environmentally friendly solution to life’s little leaks because they can be washed and reused over and over again, reducing the amount of waste you send to landfill.

How long do they take to dry?

These briefs are very comfortable and very efficient.
I need extra absorbency and found a very comfortable brief.
These articles of clothing are a marvellous idea. I have been waiting for these a long time
Thank you. Regards.
ease of washing comfit and appearance/ thumbs up
I could only find one “fault” - I’d prefer the legs cut higher. Otherwise I was delighted with the product and how comfortable and easy to wear it was. And no wet pads to dispose of!
These are too bulky feeling on the rear ! I feel like I’m wearing a diaper 😞
Discreet not bulky
The four I ordered arrived promptly, beautifully packaged, with little wash bags to protect them from rough handling. They are super comfortable, and exactly what I needed. My incontinence is no longer a nightmare! Thank you, Confitex!
Tried a couple brands- some heavily advertised but these are the winner!!!! High tech, works and wearable, well done bringing female hygiene into this millennium!
I am a 25 y/o female with extremely heavy periods and have often found myself needing to use excess sanitary products in order to avoid leakages, which in a lot of cases weren’t avoided.
I wanted to try a good heavy duty pair of period proof undies particularly for night time when I’m not awake to change a pad or tampon.
I went for the full briefs in extra absorbency and washed and dried them before giving them a go to activate the absorbency. At first I thought they felt visible but when looking in the mirror and getting my partners opinion I couldn’t see them at all.
I tried them on my heaviest day which is typically day 3-4 and wore them all night and had no leakages through the night.
I followed the washing instructions and they’ve come out as new and nothing in the wash with them was stained which was a concern of mine.
I am 100% getting more of these for the lighter days and nights and can’t wait to fully transition out of tampons and pads.
